What we collect, what we don't, and how affiliate links work.

The short version

RVTrove does not ask you to create an account, does not run advertising networks, and does not set advertising cookies of its own. We use privacy-focused analytics that do not track you across sites, and we use affiliate links, which are described below.

Analytics

We use a privacy-focused analytics service to count page views and understand which guides are useful. It collects aggregated data only — page URL, referrer, approximate country, device type and browser. It does not use cookies, does not collect IP addresses in a form that identifies you, and does not build a profile of you across websites.

We also record when a visitor clicks an outbound link to a retailer, so we can tell which recommendations readers find useful. This is counted in aggregate and is not tied to an individual.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links to retailers are affiliate links. When you follow one, the retailer may set a cookie in your browser so that any resulting purchase is attributed to us. That cookie is set by the retailer under their own privacy policy, not by RVTrove, and we do not receive your name, address, payment details, or the contents of your order — only aggregated commission reporting.

Email

If you email us, we keep the message so we can reply and follow up on corrections. We do not add you to any mailing list and we do not share your address.

Hosting and logs

This site is served as static files from a hosting provider's content delivery network. Like any web host, it processes standard server request data for security and reliability purposes.

Your choices

You can block analytics and affiliate cookies with browser settings, tracking protection or an extension. The site works normally with all of it blocked — nothing here depends on tracking you.
